Because the heat press transfer inkjet method of the EPSON printer is piezoelectric printing,it is controlled by a computer to change the current size of the tiny piezoelectric ceramic pieces of the print head to generate different pressures to eject the sublimation ink from the nozzles to form images of different shades.Other heat press transfer models, such as other printers, belong to the thermal foaming principle, which is printed on sublimation paper by heating the ink to form high-temperature and high-pressure ink columns.
Piezoelectric printers can be widely used in the personalized heat press transfer industry because only changing the mechanical pressure will not change the chemical properties of the sublimation ink.If sublimation ink passes through a high-temperature and high-pressure transfer foaming printer, its chemical composition will change, and the printed paper cannot be thermally transferred,or it will have a serious color cast, so it cannot be used.
Epson four-color or six-color printer is changed to continuous supply, pour the heat press transfer ink and it can be used. The continuous supply system is a large ink cartridge with six small boxes containing six different inks, but they can be supplied at the same time. The printer must be changed to continuous supply to be able to heat transfer.
On the other hand, other sublimation inkjets change is unstable, the black box and print head are together, but Epson is separate.I personally prefer Epson.Although it is a bit slower than the Canon model, the heat press transfer print quality is better, especially for photos.
