No, you would need specific ink and paper to work if you want to print something to sublimation paper then actually use it.
HP inkjet, the large majority of them uses type of thermal process that make it not possible to use typical sublimation ink that is used in converted printer.
Therefore I do not know any successful conversion attempt have been done.
When I am asked by someone to covert inkjet to do sublimation printer, I normally work with specific model of Epson printer. Canon or Brother printer too work if compatible ink and cartridge system to is found for particular printer.
So, you would want to get fresh Epson printer (specific model normally depend on type of sublimation ink you want to use) and converted or ask someone who knows how to covert it for your purpose.
If it is too much of trouble, getting sublimation printer might be just easier solutions.
But as far as I know, many of HP inkjet typically won’t work for such conversion.
