There are two technologies for the wood grain on the surface of aluminum profiles: one is thermal transfer technology, which is characterized by clear and realistic wood grain patterns and can transfer various color patterns; the other is vertical spraying and sweeping technology, wood grain The effect is strong in three-dimensional concavity and convexity, but the wood grain pattern is abstract and single, and the fidelity is not high enough.
The formation mechanism of thermal transfer wood grain is the transfer and penetration of wood grain ink. The transfer film with wood grain is tightly covered on the surface coating film of the aluminum profile. During the heating and curing process, the thermal movement of the ink molecules on the transfer film is intensified, and it penetrates into the gaps between the coating film molecules on the surface of the aluminum profile and the solvent of the ink. Volatile, most of the ink is combined with the coating film, showing the wood grain color brought by the transfer film.
The type of coating film on the surface of aluminum profile is related to the performance of the wood grain conversion film, and most of it is spray powder coating. At present, most of the wood grain transfer process is: aluminum pretreatment → spraying background powder curing → coating wood grain transfer film → curing transfer → paper removal. The baking temperature and time of the curing transfer are determined according to the shape of the aluminum material to be transferred, the depth of the wood grain texture to be transferred and other factors. Usually, the temperature of the transfer curing is 180°C and the time is 10 minutes.
The powder spraying process adopts electrostatic spraying, and the powder used is a special wood grain powder. After curing, the thickness of the coating film should ensure the transfer penetration depth of the wood grain ink during the transfer process.
The coating film on the surface of the aluminum profile can also be an electrophoretic paint film. The electrophoretic paint film has good corrosion resistance, weather resistance and discoloration characteristics outdoors. The electrophoretic paint film used in the wood grain transfer process is usually bright and transparent. Its wood grain transfer method is the same as that of powdered material transfer wood grain. The process flow is as follows: aluminum pretreatment→anodization→electrolytic coloring→transparent electrophoretic curing→coating wood grain transfer film→curing transfer→dismantling paper. Electrophoretic aluminum materials for wood grain transfer are generally electrolytic colored to champagne color, with champagne as the background color to transfer wood grain patterns such as red. The resin electrophoresis aluminum material has a good decorative effect on the surface of the wood grain transfer, and the wood grain aluminum material has excellent corrosion resistance, weather resistance, anti-aging and fading properties. The electrophoretic paint film used in this wood grain transfer process is pure white with high brightness. The process flow: aluminum pretreatment→anodic oxidation→ivory white (pure white) color electrophoresis curing→coating wood grain transfer film→curing transfer→dismantling paper.
